Three Year Philosophy
The Rainbow Connection’s Three Year Program builds on the basic belief stated for the Two Year Program that early school experiences should promote a sense of security and self-respect, provide a congenial place to develop a sense of accomplishment and encourage intellectual development.
Three Year Program
Our program incorporates curriculum materials appropriate for your three year old’s readiness level and teacher-made materials that personalize the program specifically for your child’s needs.
It is our belief that social development at this stage is of utmost importance, thus each child’s social interactions provides many opportunities for learning in a gently directed environment. Structure increases as the group matures and as they are ready to accept a more structured environment.
Since we know children learn best by doing, we utilize learning activities designed to involve your child with concrete materials and to provide each child with experiences to learn new skills and concepts. Ipads are available in the classroom as well to reinforce these learning experiences through educational games.
