Infant Philosophy

The guiding principle of the Infant Program is to provide a care-giving situation that approximates, as nearly as possible, a good home environment. We will ensure that each child’s physical and emotional needs are lovingly met and that appropriate and pleasurable learning experiences are available in an atmosphere of trust.

Infant Program

The Infant Program at The Rainbow Connection recognizes that the first months are when your baby can be profoundly affected by the warm day-to-day physical and emotional relationships that surround him/her. Each child is given individual attention to foster the love and trust necessary for a happy, healthy baby.

Although infants may look helpless, we know all their senses are working. They can see, hear, smell, taste and learn. In fact, babies are naturally curious and motivated to learn. To take advantage of this inborn curiosity, we provide your child with a well-rounded program to encourage and enhance his/her growth in social, physical, and intellectual development.

Integral to our program is our desire to develop a close relationship with you, the parent. We need to maintain close communication so we can share changes in your child’s behavior, routines, development, and physical needs. This way we can work together to help your child maximize his/her potential.
